What are the ownership restrictions to the foreigners?.....
The Slovenian Constitution still keeps certain barriers for the forigners, althought they were radically released three years ago from the initial forbidence for forigners to own any part of the Slovenian land. Now, the rules are based on recoprocity (line 68 of the Constitution). However, it is expected that the line 68 of the Consitution will be changed to adopt the European rules. The citizen of EU will be thus in near future free to buy any proprety in Slovenia. As for now, in the begining of 2002, the foriegners have to apply to the governemental bodies, which than evaluate if the reciprocity exists. Only 95 forigners applied for this so far (by the end of 2001) and 5 of them completed the procedure thus obtaining the right to own the Slovenian property. nazaj ogledov: 302 18. 11. 2008
